Pokemon Review: Chansey

If you haven't played 5th gen yet, then your probably wondering "Chansey in OU now? Shouldn't it stay UU?"
Well, in 2nd - 4th gen yes... But in 5th gen, many new items were introduced.
Most of them were pieces of crap, but one of them stood out -- Eviolite!

So what does this item do exactly?:
It boosts a Pokemon's defense and special defense by 50% - However, it only works on non-fully evolved Pokemon that can evolve.
Believe me, this item works wonders and has stopped my Chansey from being OHKO'd multiple times!
With 704 max HP, you can see why Chansey (aswell as Blissey) are good support Pokemon -- The bad thing is, the HP doesn't usually last that long.
But don't worry, it'll usually last long enough for what you need to do, especially if your running eviolite Chansey.

It's ability is Natural Cure, which is no doubt a very good ability! - If your paralyzed, asleep, etc. then you can just switch out and your status problem will be gone!
It has some extremely useful moves, which is always nice.
These moves include Wish, Protect, Thunder Wave and Toxic -- All very useful moves for a support Pokemon.
Another move you could run on Chansey is Counter... though it may take some prediction on if your opponent is going to use a physical attack or a special attack.

As for EVs, I would recommend 252 HP and 252 Defense as you'll probably need those EVs.

On a side-note, I won't be uploading for a while because as you all know, I'm moving house soon... but I'll be back to making videos almost every day aswell as writing for the blog when I get back! :]
